Description
21km from Foumban and 50km from Bafoussam, stop off at the Koutaba monastery to discover its 28-hectare pure Arabica coffee plantation. Strictly observant Cistercian monks grow this Arabica at an altitude of 1,200 m in the highlands of West Cameroon. They distribute it throughout Cameroon and France. In the middle of the site is a cloister built according to the plans of the famous Mont-Saint-Michel cloister. The monastery also offers full-board accommodation for visitors.
