WATERFALL OF EKOM-NKAM

With a height of 80 m, the waterfall of Ekom-Nkam originates from the Nkam River, which delineates the border between the region of the Littoral and the region of the West. Here, hikers are swallowed up in a thick and luxuriant vegetation to discover a preserved scenery. A view-point arranged in a esting place makes it possible to contemplate the spectacular descent of the cascade.

This picturesque site is known particu- larly to have been the shooting site for the movie Greystoke or “the legend of Tarzan”. The fall can also be visisted on the fallings of West, in the Banwa council.

It is situated at about 8 km from the headquaters of Banwa, in the Mbieu village.
