The museum in
some words

In Bamendjou, oral tradition has always played a key role, making art a means of expression for generations. From Fo’o Bakum (chief weaver) to Fo’o Tsela (chief blacksmith) to Fo’o Ngoum (producer of raffia fiber blankets), the Bamendjou heritage hut bears witness to this art of the creators through an entire artisanal journey, thanks to its theme “A chiefdom, creators”. The museum features works by contemporary artists such as Joseph Francis Sumégné.

Every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
