1+

The museum in
some words

The Bafut heritage hut recalls the Bafut civilization in all its forms: ancestral beliefs, clothing habits, slavery, history and lifestyle. It features animals symbolizing royal power: leopards, lions, buffaloes, and ferocious birds such as eagles and hawks. Royalty is also represented through the objects that belonged to the queen and the description of a king’s bedroom. It also tells the story of the war of conquest between the Bafuts and the Germans.
