Description

Located on the slopes of the village of Babété, at the entrance to Mbouda, the monastery occupies a site of around 19 ha, including the convent, a reception center (rooms for rent), a conference room and a chapel. The nuns run a farm and specialize in medicinal plants, in particular the production of cinnamon essential oil, renowned for its aphrodisiac and fluidifying properties. A visit to the nuns’ workshops and store will also enable you to discover the many local products they produce, such as pure honey, local bread, communion wafers and dried fruit (mangoes, papayas, etc.).
