Description

Bafoussam is home to a number of flagship sites that reflect the know-how of the West’s craftsmen and women, such as CEPAB (Centre de Promotion des Artisans de Bafoussam), whose fundamental missions are to raise awareness, animate and train craftsmen and women. Its craft gallery offers an exhibition and sale of its works of art. The CHART (Chambre des Artisans de Bafoussam) federates artisans and promotes crafts in the West. At the Chambre des Artisans, visitors can also take part in creative workshops, or buy products with a label guaranteeing their quality and origin: honey, chili juice, objets d’art, etc. The Centre culturel Pierre Moyo is located in Bafoussam on avenue Wanko Samuel, next to the Chambre de Commerce, de l’Industrie, des Mines et de l’Artisanat. It includes a library on the mezzanine and an art gallery called “Galerie Princesse”. The gallery offers a variety of local handicrafts and works by renowned artists, ideal for gifts or your own private collection! And don’t forget the ORTOC boutique in Bafoussam, offering a wide range of regional handicrafts.
