International transport
Cameroon has several airports including two international airports : Yaoundé’s Nsimalen airport and Douala international airport, and 6 national airports at Bafoussam, Garoua, Maroua-Salak, Ngaoundéré, Bamenda and Bertoua. 22 airline companies serve international airports to and from other African countries, Europe and the Middle East. The company Camair-Co serves the national airports and links the different regions of the country, in particular Bafoussam, the capital and heart of tourism in the West Cameroon region.
Currency and payments

Payments in the country are made almost exclusively in cash, except in hotels and major international brands, as well as in certain tourist sites. It is therefore essential to have a minimum amount of change on hand at all times.
